John Robert Thompson

Business Development Analyst

John Robert “JR” is a junior marketing major at The University of Alabama from Birmingham, AL, and works as a Business Development Analyst with TSH Consulting.

In this role, he drives internal business growth through client outreach, relationship management, and bookkeeping, while also supporting fraternities and sororities with academic planning, tutoring coordination, scheduling, and internship placement.

JR is an active member of Alpha Tau Omega fraternity, where he contributes to chapter initiatives and campus involvement. He is also engaged in the Culverhouse Real Estate Society and the Alabama Finance Association, organizations that provide opportunities for networking, industry insight, and leadership growth.

Through these roles, JR has developed strong skills in organization, leadership, and relationship building while balancing his academic studies with professional and extracurricular commitments. He plans to pursue a career in marketing and consulting, leveraging his experience to continue growing as a future business leader in strategy and client development.
